A Vision That Started Small — and Stayed Personal
Over 30 years ago, The Benefit Group started as a small, local business with a big vision. Founded by small-town farm boy L. Humpal, the company began with exceptional third-party administrative services and a simple belief: that employers deserve a partner who actually knows them.
Through creativity, innovation, and a genuine understanding of client needs, TBG grew into a leading third-party administrator in the self-funded market. Today, under the leadership of President Linie Humpal, we continue to lead the industry — while never losing the personal, boutique touch that defined us from day one.
